The country was still in mourning with the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. The era of Camelot had come to a close. America needed something that was different, rousing, and uplifting. Paul, John, George, and Ringo took the colonies by storm with their shaggy-hair and musicianship. They ushered in a new era, giving a voice to the upheaval taking place, the restlessness of a new generation looking to break loose and test the waters in new directions.
