Our World, Less Funny and Less Glamorous

Exceptional actors don't just enter our homes through the television set, they enter our hearts as well. Saying goodbye to them is heart breaking, as last week proved with first Robin Williams, then Lauren Bacall. In a recent blog post, Ron Greenfield shares his feelings about this special kind of loss.

So, what defines a star? What are those special qualities that make them tower above the rest? It’s hard to say. It’s definitely a combination of personality and talent, but the third part of the equation is the undefinable iridescence they possess. That is simply who they are and can’t be duplicated.
